Finding Congress abstracts
Wondering how to search and browse abstracts for the 42nd FEBS Congress? For a quick overview about the different ways to access abstracts, read on.
The 42nd FEBS Congress is bringing together over 1300 research abstracts from those attending the event, arranged across several tracks (plenary lectures, symposia, posters and so on) and Congress topics. The abstracts comprise those submitted and accepted to the Congress in response to calls for abstracts, as well as those supplied by invited speakers as a summary or introduction to their talk.
Abstracts will be presented in three ways for the event:
(1) On the Congress app
The app includes searchable abstracts grouped according to topic, track and/or timetable as well as lots of other content and features to enhance the Congress experience such as floor plans, exhibitor information, networking and scheduling functions, and a Congress app competition. For full details on the app and how to access it, click the ‘Latest news’ post here. The Congress app is available now.
(2) On the Congress website
The Congress website’s abstract search tool is also now open in the Abstracts section of the site, allowing you to sort by tracks and topics, and search on research words and author names. In addition, this website feature also allows presentation of full poster pdfs from delegates: from 1st September to 10th September, Congress participants can upload their poster pdfs to their account; and from 5th to 21st September such posters will be viewable by other delegates (only). For more information on this, click here.
(3) In The FEBS Journal Supplement for the 42nd FEBS Congress
The FEBS Journal Supplement for the 42nd FEBS Congress is scheduled to be online on 8th September on the journal website, www.febsjournal.org. Abstracts are grouped in separate PDFs by session type, and then presented in the order of the Congress programme. This is the ‘version of record’ and citation guidelines are given at the start of each section. NB: The FEBS Journal supplement does not include abstracts submitted during the late-breaking abstract submission phase.
